SPCK Group wins Publisher of the Year and three book awards at Christian Resources Together Awards 2026

We’re delighted to have been named Publisher of the Year at the Christian Resources Together (CRT) Awards 2026, with three book awards for Harry Clark, Emma Fowle and John C. Lennox too.

The winners were announced on 9 September at the annual CRT Conference, which brings together Christian publishers, retailers and authors to celebrate the best in Christian publishing and bookselling.

Our winning books

Audiobook of the Year: Staying Faithful by Harry Clark

The Traitors winner Harry Clark won this year’s audiobook award for Staying Faithful. In this candid book, Harry shares stories of his upbringing, his years in the Army and his sudden rise to fame. He also writes about his Roman Catholic faith and how it keeps him grounded.

Biography of the Year: All The Times You Were Not There by Emma Fowle

In her moving memoir, All The Times You Were Not There, Emma Fowle writes about growing up in London’s East End, her father’s addiction and thethe lasting impact of his absence. She shares how her Christian faith helped her make sense of her past and find her way towards forgiveness.

Christian Life Book of the Year: God, AI and The End of History by John C. Lennox

John C. Lennox won Christian Life Book of the Year for God, AI and The End of History. The Oxford mathematician asks whether artificial intelligence could become a false god, drawing connections between developments in AI and the book of Revelation.

“A huge moment for SPCK Group”

Sam Richardson, CEO of SPCK Group, said:

“Being named Publisher of the Year is a huge moment for SPCK Group. It recognises an extraordinary year for our authors and our team — a year in which we’ve grown, reached new audiences and seen books about Christian faith become part of much bigger cultural conversations.

That is what we want SPCK Group to be doing: publishing books that engage seriously with the world we live in, strengthen and equip Christian readers around the globe, and bring light and truth to some of the most difficult questions of our time.”

The awards follow our announcement on 2 September that SPCK Group has acquired US publisher Eerdmans.

Thank you to our authors, our editorial, production, marketing and publicity teams, and the booksellers who recommend our books and put them into readers’ hands. There’s a lot of work behind every book, and it’s wonderful to see that recognised.

Congratulations to Harry, Emma, John and everyone who worked on these books!
