The SPCK January 2018 Releases

From Paul Hattaway, well known for helping with The Heavenly Man, comes his first book on the history of Christianity in China. Shandong: The Revival Province is a gripping read - telling the story of what God is doing amongst the Chinese church. With pictures, up to date research, statistics and some amazing stories, this is a book we are really excited about.

Edited by scholar (and finder!) Robyn Wrigley-Carr, and with a foreword by Eugene Peterson, SPCK is proud to be publishing Evelyn Underhill's Prayer Book. This mine of spiritual wisdom, thought lost, is a beautifully distilled and presented collection of prayers and spiritual writing.

From John Pritchard comes his latest offering for the church at prayer. The Intercessions Resource Book is packed full of fresh ideas for public and private prayer from the author of The Intercessions Handbook and The Second Intercessions Handbook which have sold over 50,000 copies.

Finally, we've got a pair of brilliant children stories from Fiona Vietch-Smith. Following the adventures of Joseph in the Bible, these beautifully illustrated books are part of SPCK's growing roster of resources for the whole church.
