Summary
Meeting God in Matthew explores the essential meaning and purpose of the First Gospel for beginners who may be curious to know more about the revelation of God in Jesus, as well as for those who’ve read the Gospel many times before and want to see it in a fresh light.

This beautifully written book by one of our most widely respected theologians is packed with illuminating spiritual insights, and its focus on the Passion narrative makes it ideal as a Lenten devotional or study resource.
