This spiritually stimulating series of reflections and prayers is designed to help you gather your thoughts in preparation for Sunday worship, while also providing a springboard for regular Bible study throughout the year.
Gemma Simmonds begins each section with the reading from Mark’s Gospel, followed by a thought-provoking meditation that draws out points of connection between all the readings for the day. She then offers a short prayer and provides questions for personal reflection or group discussion.

The book covers the Sunday readings from the Gospel, as well as the readings for Holy Days of Obligation in the Roman Catholic calendar – such as the feasts of Christmas, the Epiphany, Ash Wednesday, the Annunciation, Ascension Thursday and Corpus Christi.

A Time to Reflect – Year B is a uniquely valuable resource for worship leaders as well as for individuals and groups who want to enhance their understanding of the Bible and deepen their devotion to God.
