Designer
Multi-award-winning publisher SPCK has a fantastic role for a mid-weight creative Designer to join our Art Department.
You will have a standout portfolio, a passion for innovative design and a love of books, combined with an eye for detail and excellent typographic skills. You will be joining a small team of designers to create industry-leading books, from children’s picture books and reference titles to trade biographies and history books, theology titles and Bibles. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your talent and creativity across a wide range of genres working on both four-colour books and covers.
You will have at least 2–3 years’ experience, a design degree or similar, excellent communication and organisational skills, be calm and efficient working to tight deadlines and be competent using Adobe Creative Suite.
The role is based from our Farringdon studio and we are pleased to be able to offer flexible and hybrid working with two days in the office.

Your folio should display a clear desire to work in publishing, you should have a design degree or similar, excellent communication and organisational skills, be calm and efficient working to tight deadlines and be competent using Adobe Creative Cloud.
