Could you partner with us, in our work with leading authors, creating Christian literature in many forms and promoting it to a wide range of people, including those who might not otherwise hear it in schools, prisons and on public transport?

As a Society incorporated by Royal Charter, SPCK has been a membership organisation since its inception. Each year, members are entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting in October each year, helping to determine the running and future direction of the Society. We welcome and appreciate donations of any size but regular donations, such as membership contributions, allow us to plan ahead, knowing what income to expect.

Ordinary members contribute £5pcm (£60 pa), 1698 Club members contribute £141.50pcm (£1698 pa)

Ordinary members receive:

  • an invitation to, and the opportunity to vote at, our Annual General Meeting, including the thanksgiving service and lunch in October;
  • an invitation to our Bray Day Service and reception in February;
  • invitations to SPCK events such as book launches;
  • an SPCK church pocket book and diary worth £9.99;
  • regular updates on our work.

1698 Club members are also invited to an exclusive annual black-tie dinner. The next dinner, with guest speaker Lord Hastings of Scarisbrick will be at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine, in January 2017.

In the late seventeenth century, Bray saw a society, like ours today, desperately in need of good Christian literature. By becoming a member, you will join a centuries-old community committed to promoting Christian ideas and values in our society. With the support of his friends, Thomas Bray was able to achieve much. With your support, so will we.

Join us today and work with us to help change lives by promoting Christian ideas and values.

If you would like to become a member of the Society, please complete the form below. For more information, feel free to phone Primavera Quantrill, Fundraising and Programmes Director, on 020 7592 3911.
